Props to Eddie Bravo and everything, but why are his students not repping? It seems like the Gi schools are holding it down for the most part.
Alliance, Checkmat, Gracie Barra and Lloyd Irvin (who all spend a substantial amount of time in the Gi) have good showings in both arenas.
I am not trying to say Eddie Bravo is all hype, but it seems like if all you do is train in the Gi, you should have a leg up on the people who do not train with it.
This is just confusing to me I guess.
Of course, like I predicted, Pablo did place pretty high.
