Rolls was ahead of his time - like the documentary said. I like that he:
1. faced his fears head on (although that lead to his demise)
2. did not adhere to groupthink and went outside his circle of influence to make his jits better
3. was a good teacher - if you have truly mastered something, it should be easy to teach
